Former GE Executive Joins TPI Composites Board of Directors

Will Bring Global Manufacturing and Operations Experience

Scottsdale, Ariz. (August 12, 2010) – TPI Composites, Inc. today announced Stephen Bransfield has joined its board of directors. Bransfield, a 37-year veteran of General Electric brings his operations and manufacturing experience to TPI, based upon his 12 years with GE Energy and 25 years with GE Aircraft Engines and GE Aerospace.  Most recently, Bransfield served as vice president of global supply chain for GE Energy where he was responsible for the manufacturing and purchasing of power generation equipment including gas, steam, wind and hydro turbines and generators. His responsibilities included leading more than 12,000 employees and managing more than 100 global factories.

“Steve’s extensive background in international manufacturing in high-growth environments will help TPI manage its plan to increase the company’s global footprint as a leading supplier to the wind, transportation and military vehicle markets,” said TPI CEO Steve Lockard.

Prior to GE Energy, Bransfield served as general manager of GE Aircraft Engines in Lynn, Massachusetts where he was responsible for the operations of five factories in the U.S. and Canada and for overseeing 6,000 employees.

Bransfield resides in Bonita Springs, Florida and currently serves on the Board of DHA Holdings. He formerly served on the Board of Trustees Clarkson University, Emma Willard School, Proctors Theatre and Capital District Hospice.  He is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in Operations Research with an MBA from Suffolk University.
